The Experience
Therapy that goes where it needs to go — in sessions designed for depth, not just maintenance.
Therapy That Goes Where It Needs To Go
Most therapy happens in fifty-minute increments — enough to open something, rarely enough to move through it. The Experience is different. These are extended, immersive sessions of two to four hours, designed to give the work the time and space it actually needs.
Andrea draws on her full range of training — somatic therapy, brainspotting, ART, EFT, clinical hypnotherapy, and energy work — weaving modalities together in response to what arises in the room. The result is a session that can shift what years of weekly therapy has not.
What We Work With
Somatic Therapy
Body-based work that tracks sensation, breath, and nervous system activation to access and process what the mind alone cannot reach.
Brainspotting
A brain-body approach using fixed eye positions to locate and process trauma, emotional pain, and stuck patterns held beneath conscious awareness.
EFT / Tapping
Emotional Freedom Technique uses gentle tapping on acupressure points to reduce the charge around distressing memories, beliefs, and physical sensations.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy
ART uses guided eye movements and voluntary image replacement to rapidly reduce the distress associated with traumatic memories — often in a single session.
Clinical Hypnotherapy
A deeply relaxed state that allows access to subconscious patterns, beliefs, and memories that are difficult to reach through ordinary waking awareness.
Singing Bowls & Energy Work
Sound and subtle energy work to support nervous system regulation, deepen relaxation, and create conditions for integration and release.
Rewiring the Nervous System
Polyvagal Theory tells us that the nervous system is not a passive observer — it is an active participant in how we experience safety, connection, and threat. When the nervous system is stuck in survival patterns, insight alone rarely produces lasting change.
Extended sessions create the conditions for real nervous system shifts — not just insight, but embodied change. Some clients notice meaningful movement in as few as six sessions.
Whole-Person Care
Andrea approaches each person as a whole — not a diagnosis, not a symptom list. She is willing to collaborate with other providers, refer when appropriate, and hold the complexity of a life that doesn't fit neatly into any single framework.
